The Pacers have been playing well even with JO injured. Without their injured star the Pacers defeated New Orleans, Denver, and Dallas. With JO being less important to the team and an opt out at the end of the year Larry Bird could move JO for some more younger players.

Jason Kidd sat out of the Nets loss to the Knicks with a reported migraines. Others seem to believe the migraine is from playing with the Nets and that he was to be traded. If Kidd was to be traded the Lakers would be a top option but would be unwilling to trade Bynum and might have a hard time parting with Jordan Farmar as well. It would seem that the Lakers best package they would be willing to trade would be Kwame Brown's expiring 9 million, Vlade Radmanovic, and Javaris Crittenton.

Pau has wanted out for a while now and with the Lakers drafting his younger brother Marc. Laker fans are hoping for a family reunion. It seems unlikely though with Memphis recently signing Darko Milicic and Juan Carlos Navarro

Artest remains a coveted player to Laker fans because of his lock down defense. He is thought to become available if Sacramento struggles and will also be a free agent after the season.

The dream of KG coming to the Lakers has twisted into a nightmare and he will now wear Celtic green after the celtics trading 5 players and 2 first round picks for the All Star Forward

The Lakers tried to get Camby by giving up Kwame Brown but the Nuggets didnt appear to like the deal. Camby is believed to be on the trading block because of Kenyon Martin coming back from injury and a deserve to clear cap space by the Nuggets

Michael Jordan apparently pulled the plug on a deal that would have sent Gerald Wallace to the Lakers, sent Richard Jefferson to the Bobcats and Lamar Odom to the New Jersey Nets

Webber is still a free agent.

Marion said he would like to be traded and that he would welcome a trade to the Lakers. He regularly talks to Kobe and is tired of being mentioned in trade rumors. the Lakers could swap Odom for him but Marion also wants a 3 year $20 million extension
