Vladimir Radmanovic was born on November 19, 1980 in Trebinje, Yugoslavia. As a child he moved constantly moved to where his father, an army officer, was stationed. Vlade was drafted as the 12th overall pick in the 2001 NBA draft by the Seattle Supersonics. He was a important sixth man for Seattle but seeked a starting position.
Vlade was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers before the trade deadling of the 2006 season. At the end of the season though Vlade signed with the Los Angeles Lakers. With the Lakers Vlade struggled to figure out the offense and with his shot due to an injury to his hand and a snowboarding accident last season. This year Vlade has regained his shooting touch and is again deadly from beyond the arc, proving he was worth the mid-level exception.
