Chris Mihm was born on July 16, 1979 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Chris went to the University of Texas at Austin before being selected the 7th overall pick in the 2000 NBA draft. He was selected by the Chicago Bulls but traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Jamal Crawford. The weeks prior to the draft Chris was thought to be a possible first pick.
Chris was traded to the Lakers for Rick Fox and Gary Payton after the 2004 season. Chris developed into a low post presence having career highs across the board before suffereing an ankle injury last year.
The injury has led to 2 surgeries and a season and a half lost, but the surgery was successful and he is expected to return next year.
